Restored Hot Wheels Redline 1970 TNT Bird Blue

Vintage Hot Wheels Red-line Restoration. Well loved cars that have been brought back from the dead. All cars start as trashed originals that are repainted, modified, and had replacement parts used when necessary. All photos are of un-assembled/un-finalized cars. It just makes it easier for last minute changes and fixes. Cars used for restoration have been well played with!! While we do our best to make sure the car is 100% perfect, some blemishes or errors are permanent and might still show up. All restorations are made by a fat old guy. I'll be happy to correct on my own nickel. This is our best effort to match colors. We have no idea what the factory fresh paint really looked like because both the cars paint and metal have aged fifty plus years.

While Mattel was able to formulate paint that could withstand the average seven-year old's wear and tear we can't. These guys have seen their last orange track race. Cars are for display only.

As said earlier, every effort is made to use original parts but most cars at a minimum will have the tires replaced. It's common to replace window glass and decals.

Meaning I'll do cars in colors or combinations not used originally. This is done for fun not reference. I cannot at this time restore customers cars. I have many other listings for these custom cars up - Please look at my other listings for more cars.
