Hot Wheels Redline CUSTOM MUSTANG Watermelon US White Int EX/NM STORE DISPLAY

Up for grabs Hot wheels redline Custom Mustang. Paint wear: A few scattered micro - has a tarnish/tone spot on roof with a nick area.

Has a little paint wear on hood edge from store display glue. Special notes: Interior looks like it was installed slightly too far forward causing rear glass tabs not to seat into mounting holes. Could probably be adjusted but I did not want to mess with this car. This particular car was acquired from a woman about 2 years ago who's father in law had owned a toy store in the 60's. There was an original Mattel store display in his possession in his garage. He passed and the family was cleaning out the area and the store display was actually thrown in the trash (ugh). Unfortunately the actual display was not so lucky. I was lucky enough to acquire the mustang for my own collection. I know some of the folks who acquired some of the other cars. Was a fun little story - but story aside, the car speaks for itself, a true piece of early Mattel history, and in stellar condition. Its time for me to pass it along for the next collector to enjoy.
